Surlyn 1601-2 Skin Film Typically used as a food contact or seal layer in flexible packaging, DuPont™ Surlyn® packaging resins are optimized for efficient blown film and extrusion coating. Choose from a wide variety of proven grades, to meet specific packaging needs. This film offers high clarity and optics, fast cycle time, excellent board adhesion and no board curl. These qualities along with high tensile strength and puncture resistance provide an excellent solution for both industrial and retail packaging. Surlyn® 1601-2 is for use in conventional blown and cast film extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins.
