MPD is a multi-layered, co-extruded, cross linked, polyolefin shrink film. MPD was designed to help increase merchandise appeal without jeopardizing product protection. No other production film on the market today can compete with the superior optics of the MPD film.
The MPD film is ideal for window boxes, printed retail boxes, food products, dairy products, sporting goods, and any product where clarity is critical.
MPD excels on all types of trim sealing machinery as well as all high speed equipment. MPD consistently runs on equipment in excess of 200 pieces per minute. The ease of machinablity coupled with the large operational window, in respect to sealing and shrinking temperatures, makes the MPD film, one of the most phenomenal packaging films available today.
Cryovac MPD shrink film is also FDA approved for food products. The MPD film will not relax or loosen in freezer applications, making it ideal for perishable food items.
