MPD-2100 from Cryovac is a new generation, multi-ply film that offers many additional benefits for high volume packagers. Its improved machinability and hot-slip characteristics make it ideal for high-speed applications where products go directly from the shrink tunnel to pack-off.
MPD-2100 Film is especially suited for products requiring an exceptionally strong, reliable static lap seal. The increased seal strength of this tough, polyolefin film significantly reduces reject rates at pack-off, especially applications where gaps or "bridging" occurs between products.
This unique, multilayer film is also designed for optimum merchandisability. Its excellent shrink properties produce a snug, tight fitting package that stays virtually wrinkle free under extremes of heat and cold. This durable, "all weather" film remains pliable even at -40°E
The use of MPD-2100 on your production line can help reduce energy costs and extend equipment life; it shrinks and seals at lower temperatures than conventional film. Because of its polyolefin construction, the film seals cleanly and consistently without noxious fumes or corrosion buildup on sealing wires.
MPD-2100 is available in 50, 60 and 75 gauge, and in singlewound and centerfolded forms.
