The S-23 series L-sealer is an inexpensive, hand operated
machine for wrapping packages in centerfolded film.

S-23
A hand load operation with the film being delivered in-line to the
seal system. The operator places a product on the infeed table, brings
it in contact with a previously made seal and advances both film and
product into the seal area. They make a manual seal by pulling down
and holding the seal arm, the wire does its "impulse" seal
cycle and the arm is released.
The film dispenser is equipped with
a spring-loaded dancer roll to take up starting inertia. The height
of the sealing table is adjustable so that seals occur at the center
line of the package.
Model S-23 sealers can be converted to Models S-23A or S-23B Semi-Automatic
Sealers at any time.
S-23A
This machine is the same in design as the S23 basic, but
incorporates an air magnetic latch to control the dwell time of
the seal jaw.
S-23B
The "B" series machine includes all the items mentioned
for the "A" series with the addition of push buttons and
an additional air cylinder to close the seal arm, eliminating the
need for the operator to manually close the seal jaws. Also, the "B"
series does include an automatic package discharge conveyor. |
