S-3C-DA
Here at last is a High Production L-Sealer built specifically to meet the exacting requirements of a food processing plant where moisture is always present. In fact, the Shanklin Model S-3C-DA High Production L-Sealer has been approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for use in meat processing plant.
The basic construction of the Model S-3C-DA is stainless steel for easy cleaning. The loading tray can be removed quickly for immersion cleaning and its top surface is without crevices. The electrical components have been shielded to protect them from the over-spray and steam encountered while cleaning the room, and a dehumidifying light in the electrical cabinet reduces humidity. Although the machine cannot be "hosed down", it has been designed to be "wipe-down" cleaned.
Several unique features of the Model S-3C-DA facilitate higher packaging speeds. The power film unwind reduces operator fatigue, and the film inverting head provides an opening in the film to receive the product. The operation of the sealing head, the sealing cycle, and the product take-away are fully automatic.
If you need a USDA approved machine with the versatility of an L-Sealer but you require higher packaging speeds than have been previously possible, this is the machine for you!
OPERATION
Center folded film is dispensed from a power unwind and passes over and through the film inverting head which turns the film inside out leaving an opening into which the product can be inserted. With one smooth motion, the operator inserts the product into the film and moves it to the sealing area. The operator touches two buttons to start the sealing cycle. After the seal is made, the package is automatically conveyed to the shrink tunnel. Meanwhile, the operator is passing another package through the inverting head and is moving it into the selaing area.
