The Shanklin HS-9 and HS-10 Adjustable Forming Head for quick and simple size changeover. |
The Models HS-9 and HS-10 High Speed Wrappers wrap products in plastic film automatically at high speeds. The resulting packages have trim seals on the ends of the package and a longitudinal trim seal running along the bottoms. Thus, the final wraps have trim seals in the form of a 'T' when looking at the ends of the packages. The bottom seal is available as a band seal or hot wire seal, and the end seal is available as a hot knife or an impulse hot wire.
The Models HS-9 and HS-10 are similar in appearance and function. The HS-10, with its high speed gearing, can run much faster than the HS-9, but its package size capability is slightly more limited.

Both models are highly versatile and will run equally well at both high and low speeds, and the wrapping speed can be adjusted from the control console to match the speed of the production line. A programmable controller, with a user-friendly touch-screen control panel, promotes ease of operation and self-diagnostics.
Shanklin High Speed Wrappers are easy to operate, easy to maintain, and easy to change over from one size to another. The machine is equipped with dual film unwind spindles, and film can be loaded by one person. The Adjustable Film Forming Head is standard.
The HS-9 and HS-10, with their compact size and easy changeover, are well-suited for wrapping small to medium-sized products at high speed. |
