Description
The 15-111 Series are conveyor type heat sealers designed specifically for high volume packaging applications. These machines are available with a servo-driven chain system or belt drive in various sizes to meet actual production and package size requirements. The 15-111 Series are available in various lengths (for additional product loaders) and with numerous options to custom tailor a system to meet almost any requirement. Typically used for conventional carded blisters, it can also be configured for fold-over cards, double blister cards, selected (flange only) heat sealing, medical packages/trays, pill packs, Tyvek, (oils thin plastic and laminated film lidstock.
The 15-111-A features a servo chain driven system, precision four-post heat seal press (with precision ground platens and long bushings to ensure parallelism), a touch screen operator interface panel (for fast set-up and adjustment of operating parameters and sequences to the PLC) and is also available in different lengths (for the addition of automatic feeders and/or additional product loaders) with numerous options to custom tailor a system to meet almost any application. An optional electronic impulse sealing system is available for clamshells and two-piece blister sealing applications.
The model 15-111-S is equipped with a standard index registered belt drive system and is available in various lengths and options (automatic card feeder, sensors, digital timers, etc.) to further automate and help improve production efficiencies. Seal tools may be manufactured from maple die board, phenolic or aluminum depending upon application requirements.
The 15-111 A-HC features a precision indexing electric motor chain drive system, four post type double acting heat seal press combined with an identical four post double acting cooling press, (each with precision ground platens and long bushings to insure parallelism), touch screen operator interface panel (for first set-up and adjustment of operating parameters and sequences to the PLC), and is available in various sizes and different lengths (for the addition of automatic.feeders and/or additional product loaders) and with numerous options.
Operation
The optional automatic feeders load the blisters and clamshells into the seal tools as they index past the loading stations (adjustable speed indexer to pace the operators, loaders), then index into the seal station for heat sealing, and then indexed into the cooling platens, and the finished packages are automatically unloaded as the conveyor turns the tools over at the end of the machine (optional take-off accessory conveyor is available to bring packages up to a 3 ft. height for packing into shipping cartons, case packing, etc.). Additional feeders are available to increase productivity and reduce labor required.
