Description
The ZED Model 15-DLX is the latest generation of two station, shuttle heat sealers. Vastly improved over previous models, the 15-DLX features improved operating efficiencies, heavier-duty frame, NEW roller slider tray system and requires less floorspace. The seal tools are now simply placed over locating pins on the tray, allowing changeovers to be made in seconds and reducing actual tooling costs! The operator(s) simply pushes the tray effortlessly into the seal station, two hand start buttons are provided for both sides of the machine, and automatic timer controlled sealing is accomplished. The 15-DLX is ideally suited for production heat sealing of carded blisters, fold-over cards, etc., and configured properly, is used for sealing TYVEK , paper and foil for medical packaging, unit portion packs, foil pill packs, hospital supply items, prototype work and specialty seal applications.
ZED Model 15-DLX-I Impulse Shuttle Blister Sealer also available.
The model 15-DLX-I is a two station shuttle-type heat sealer designed to seal clamshells and two piece blisters, but can also be used to seal conventional carded blisters with the proper tooling. An impulse sealing system is utilized for plastic to plastic sealing and a hot plate is also incorporated for blister card sealing using quick change tooling.
Operation
The operator(s) loads the blister(s), product and card(s) into the seal tool, which is then slid into the machine, the 2-hand start buttons are depressed to initiate the timer controlled automatic cycle (seal times are normally 1 - 4 seconds), the tray is then pulled back (the operator on the other side can now slide their tray into the seal station), the finished sealed package(s) are removed, and the process is repeated.
