Description
ZED 15-RS Series are automated rotary heat sealers designed for sealing conventional carded blister packs but can also be used in medical and/or pharmaceutical applications utilizing Tyvek, foil, thin plastic, laminated film stock, etc. Locating pins on the aluminum turntable allow the use of quick-change seal tools made of aluminum, phenolic or maple die board, depending on application requirements. An optional package ejector and card feeder are also available to further increase your productivity and versatility and help meet the needs of today's JIT and pack-to-order manufacturing environment.
Operation
An accurate, high-speed cam indexer is used for precision, repeatability and is timer controlled to pace the operator(s). The blisters, product and cards are manually loaded into the seal tools as they index past the loading stations. The packages are then automatically sealed (approximately 1-3 second seal time) and removed via an operator or optional automatic finished package ejector.
