Description
The ZED 15-T Series are two-station, shuttle type heat sealers designed for low to medium production volume. They feature shuttles on each side, allowing operators to alternate sealing packages and monitor their own production. These systems are typically used for conventional carded blister packs but can also be used in medical and/or pharmaceutical applications utilizing Tyvek, foil, thin plastic, laminated film stock, etc. Available options include: digital timer and temperature controller, high pressure seal system, non-stick, scratch resistant seal plate, a medical sealing system, as well as many others.
The model 15-TO is an oversize version of the famous 15-T two station shuttle-type heat sealer. This unit is designed for large package sealing applications which will not fit on the smaller seal area of the 15-T. The 15-TO is available in 14" x 22", 20" x 24" and 24" x 38" seal area sizes, with larger sizes available for quotation. Aluminum shuttle trays are featured on both sides of the machine allowing for wood, phenolic or aluminum seal tools to be simply placed on locating pins on the tray, providing lower cost, quick-change tooling capability.
Operation
- Each operator loads the tray/blister, product and lidstock into the seal tool.
- The seal tool is manually shuttled into the seal area.
- The 2-hand safety interlock start buttons are pressed, initiating the timer controlled automatic cycle.
- After the packages have been sealed the tool is retracted; the finished packages removed and the process is repeated.
