Decription
The ZED EZ-SKIN/TRIM COMBO represents a new concept in skin packaging with 18"x24" master skin cards because it combines the advantages of hydraulic die cutting with an easy to operate skin packer - both mounted to a single, space-saving frame. This new, cost-efficient system allows for maximum productivity of high quality skin package items by a single operator! Time that was formerly wasted (waiting for the film to heat) can now be used for die cutting and pack-off into shipping cartons, case packing, etc. This economically priced, completely self-contained machine requires only electrical supply for full operation.
Operation
The operator places the master skin card onto the bed of the ZED EZ-SKIN/TRIM COMBO and ...
- loads product, depresses the two-hand start buttons to initiate the timer controlled automatic skin cycle
- slides the skin packed card from the skin station to the die shuttle (Optional cut-off slits film automatically)
- lowers the die (which is mounted to a pivoting arm assembly) and slides the shuttle into the timer-controlled hydraulic trimmer
- repeats the loading/heat sequence, slides the shuttle out of the press, opens the die, and removes the finished die cut individual packages from the shuttle for packing into shipping cartons.
