Description
The model EZ-TRIM is an economically priced, free standing, hydraulic die cutter designed to meet low to moderate production requirements. It is the practical alternative to roller die cutters since problem plagued rollers, bearings, etc., are eliminated. Hydraulic die cutting provides even cutting pressure which can extend steel rule die life tenfold. The EZ-'PRIM is completely self-contained, and requires electrical supply only, for full operation. Constructed in a heavy-duty manner, with thick solid steel platens, and using the finest materials and components to insure years of dependable trouble-free operation. Steel striker plate and wood bolsters are included.
Operation
The operator places the skin packed card on the striker plate, lowers the steel rule die (mounted to a swinging arm fixture) over the card, slides the assembly into the press, depresses the two-hand start buttons to initiate the automatic cutting cycle. An adjustable timer controls the trim time, (adjustable pressure control allows you to set exact pressure requirements for each job), the operator slides the assembly out of the press, raises the die, removes the finished trimmed parts and scrap web, and repeats the process.
