Description
The Zed Model EZB is a table top, single shuttle heat sealer with automatic cycle. The large 10"x10" temperature controlled seal platen with 700 lb. time controlled seal makes it ideal for production runs. Tooling can be made from wood, aluminum and phenolic, with changeovers made in seconds. Materials such as blister cards, aluminum foils, tyvek, thin plastic lid stock and clam shell blisters may be sealed. Typical applications for this machine are blister packs, food trays, unit portion packs, fold-over cards, pharmaceutical, hospital supply items and special seal applications.

Operation
The operator loads the blister(s), product and card(s) into the seal tool, which is then slid into the machine, the 2-hand start buttons are depressed to initiate the timer controlled automatic cycle (seal times are normally 1 - 3 seconds), the tool is then pulled back, the finished sealed package(s) removed, and the process is repeated.
