The Zed Model HTP Series is a stand alone, hydraulic trim press designed to replace older, inefficient, problem plagued toggle type systems and/or to be placed after existing thermoforming equipment. The HTP features double acting trim platens (top & bottom, allowing trimming of parts both above & below the web line), extra high tonnage trimming capabilities (incorporated to meet the needs of today's thermoplastics such as: PET, etc., which require higher tonnages to cut). Solid steel, full form-area platens (eliminating any deflection) and an exclusive hydraulic trim system (which eliminates toggles) are utilized to increase the speed of the press, reduce size of hydraulic system required, thus saving energy. Available in various sizes & tonnages, as well as custom systems, to meet any die cutting requirements. Temperature controlled heated striker plate/trim die system is also available (lengthening die life and reducing pressure required to cut).
