Description
The standard model L is a self-contained vacuum forming machine which does not require compressed air. This machine is a wonderful tool for sampling blisters, trays, skin packs, pre-production samples of all types and limited laboratory work. With the addition of some of the available options, the model L can be used for short run production of thermoformed parts.
Operation
The standard machine features hand controls for the up-moving forming platen, vacuum on and heater movement, while the automatic unit provides timer control of the heating time platen-up, and vacuum on sequences. Material is placed in the clamp frame, which is then closed, the heater is then pulled out over the material, and manual or automatic control of the forming functions is accomplished, the heater is pushed back to the insulated staging area, the stop button is then depressed to complete the forming cycle, the clamp frame is opened and the finished part may then be removed, and the process repeated.
